A number of law enforcement officials have been shot and an emergency state of affairs has been declared after a person opened fireplace as police approached his Queensland property.
The emergency declaration was made for the city of Wieambilla, south of Chinchilla and about three hours west of Brisbane, simply after 6pm on Monday.
It’s understood at the very least 4 law enforcement officials had been referred to as to a home and had been fired at from inside as they neared – with one confirmed shot and the remaining unaccounted for.
