A lady has died following a crash with a police automobile which had been chasing a suspected stolen car.
The collision took in Shaw Highway, Oldham, in Better Manchester on Friday morning.
Police had been scrambled at 10am to chase a suspected stolen car, with officers partaking in a ‘quick pursuit’.
However a short while later, a police car crashed, leaving a 53-year-old girl critically injured.

The police pursuit passed off at 10am, when officers had been chasing a suspected stolen car. However shortly afterwards, the girl was hit and critically injured
She was taken to hospital for therapy to critical accidents, however died a short while later.
Chris Bowen, Chief Superintendent of GMP’s Oldham district mentioned; ‘Our honest ideas and condolences go to the household and buddies of the girl that has sadly handed.
‘We perceive that the general public are involved by incidents of this nature. In-line with regular process, referrals have been made to GMP’s Skilled Requirements Department and the Impartial Workplace for Police Conduct.
‘Investigations like this typically lead to street closures which might trigger important disruption and we thank the local people and street customers for his or her endurance.’
