Video footage – shot by a customer – reveals the monkeys flushing out the rat because it tries to cover beneath the meals dish.

Then after grabbing the rodent, one of many troop swings it round by its tail, bashing its head on rocks within the enclosure in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province.

The customer who shot the footage – recognized solely by her surname as Mrs Dong – had taken her household to the park for the day.
