An entrepreneur claims Qantas left him $4,000 out of pocket by damaging his prized surfboards – simply days after two handlers had been fired for ‘disrespecting’ baggage.

Melbourne kombucha firm founder James Huddle, 45, shared a video of three surfboards he checked in on a Qantas flight from Melbourne to Newcastle on the NSW north coast on Thursday.

Footage reveals all three surfboards, that are valued at about $4,000, with a big dent throughout the highest.
