Melbourne Metropolis goalkeeper is smashed within the face with a BIN as A-League sport descends into chaos

Melbourne Metropolis goalkeeper is left bloodied after being smashed within the face with a BIN as A-League sport descends into chaos with followers invading the pitch to protest controversial $10MILLION NSW deal

The Melbourne Derby descended into chaos on Saturday night time as followers invaded the pitch and attacked Metropolis’s goalkeeper at AAMI Park.

Livid with the A-League’s choice to ship the subsequent three grand finals to Sydney, followers have been planning to stage a mass walkout on the twentieth minute to vent their discontent with the choice.

Nevertheless, tempers boiled over and by the twenty first minute, supporters encroached the pitch and Metropolis goalkeeper Thomas Glover was attacked, with a bin smashed into his face.

The 24-year-old was left bloodied and the sport was suspended.

Extra to comply with.
