A father-of-one was discovered lifeless in West Yorkshire on Christmas Eve after he fell and hit his head.

On the evening earlier than Christmas, Anthony Michael Lee’s physique was found by Armitage Bridge in Huddersfield.

Till his loss of life, the 35-year-old lived along with his mom Beverley Clegg, who misplaced her different son Trevor solely two years in the past.

His brother-in-law, Dean Wild, of Newsome, stated Anthony’s passing has left her ‘very upset’.

Mr Wild stated: ‘We’re all heartbroken, he was like a brother to me. In the intervening time all we all know is that he could have fallen and banged his head.

‘He lived along with his mom Beverley Clegg in Calton Avenue, Hillhouse, close to Fartown and she or he could be very upset.’

It stays unclear why Anthony was in that a part of Huddersfield when the incident occurred.    

He continued: ‘I’ll keep in mind Anthony as a very good lad. He was a eager Huddersfield City FC fan and appreciated to go to Huddersfield city centre pubs resembling The Crown on Westgate and Wetherspoon’s Cherry Tree on John William Avenue.

Anthony’s sister, Joanne Wallbank, has now launched a GoFundMe marketing campaign to lift funds for Anthony’s funeral – it has already raised greater than £250.

An inquest is predicted to be opened and adjourned at Bradford Coroner’s Courtroom within the new yr.
