A van driver was stopped by police after transporting a ‘harmful load’ of giant metallic – that made his car as longer than a bus. 

Police thought their ‘eyes have been deceiving them’ once they noticed the truck carrying the lengthy metallic body in Elland, close to Halifax, West Yorkshire, final evening.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police stopped the car after noticing its cargo made it ‘longer than as a bus’.

A spokesman for the pressure stated the motive force comically hooked up a ‘hi-vis’ jacket to the tip of the heavy load to warn different motorists about how far it prolonged.

The spokesman stated: ‘While patrolling Elland this night, PC Burn and PCSO Wardman sighted the under car and thought their eyes have been deceiving them.
