In an article regarding Mr Shahbaz Sharif entitled ‘Did the household of Pakistani politician who has develop into the poster boy for British abroad support STEAL funds meant for earthquake victims’ revealed on 14 July 2019 we reported on an investigation by Pakistan’s Nationwide Accountability Bureau into Mr Sharif and recommended that the cash beneath investigation included a not insubstantial sum of British public cash that had been paid to the Punjab province in DFID grant support. We settle for Mr Sharif has by no means been {accused} by the Nationwide Accountability Bureau of any wrongdoing in relation to British public cash or DFID grant support.
