Chocolatier and inventor of Walkers Goodies Bob Walker has died aged 83.

His chocolate bins have been a much-loved stocking filler because the model was created in 1977.

Walkers provide a variety of chocolate and confectionery together with crammed candies, truffles, chocolate bars and Easter eggs. 

Mr Walker’s spouse Johanna Laurie stated: ‘His motto was “smile, be glad”, so it’s hardly shocking that he put an uplifting saying into each field of candies.’
