Three camels have been noticed inflicting havoc alongside a busy street after escaping from a church nativity scene.
The Bridgeman Baptist Group Church, in Bridgeman Downs, northern Brisbane, confirmed the curious animals had wandered off with the trio seen strolling alongside the aspect of a street previous a string of automobiles.
They had been seen heading down Albany Creek Highway simply after 10am on Friday, inflicting complications for commuters on their approach to work.
‘Our camels received a bit misplaced on the best way to Bethlehem! Gladly they’re again secure and sound now,’ the church wrote on Fb.
The camels introduced site visitors to a standstill with many motorists capturing the weird sight.
A spokesperson for the church informed Every day Mail Australia the camels had been part of their Christmas exhibits and had been sorted by an area firm specialising in camel rides, Camelot Camels.
Melanie Fitzgibbon, one of many firm’s homeowners, mentioned the camels had been at giant for about half-hour.
‘The place we’re they’re home fairly safely and we fed them this morning and my husband mentioned he’d take them for a stroll and when he went to verify on them they’d opened the gate,’ she mentioned.
‘They had been on foot only a bit additional forward of us, we knew the place they had been it was only a matter of catching up with them – they’re fast travellers.’
Ms Fitzgibbon mentioned the camels had been introduced again safely and had had some lunch and a nap forward of one other Christmas present.
‘It was undoubtedly one thing for the commuters to see!’ she mentioned.
