A neighbour who was woken up by the incident stated: ‘I began seeing all these flashing lights round 3.30am.
‘After I pulled again the curtain and appeared out, all I noticed had been big flames coming from the home. All I noticed had been crimson flames.’
A Met spokesman stated: ‘Police had been referred to as at 02:34hrs on Tuesday, 27 December, to studies of a automotive on fireplace in Clarence Avenue, SW4.
