Rapper Jim Jones has taken to social media to blast the most important city community, BET, for not permitting him to attend its Hip Hop Awards Present on Friday, Sept. 30.
On Instagram, the Harlem native expressed his disappointment, saying, “I used to be tryin to go to th wager hip hops awards and assist my brother @fatjoe and this how a @wager dealt with me lol lol Dam (sic).”
Including, “@BET I assumed this was th hip hop award present. Any individual inform @fatjoe I attempted. Don’t need him suppose I ain’t preserve my phrase. Informed him I used to be comin. However BeT says totally different mayb subsequent time. Tear tht s### down joe.”
“They nonetheless talkin Covid and th cdc says ain’t no extra Covid lol,” he ended this caption.
In a meme he posted their response to his request for tickets.
He wrote, “Additionally, I had requested you to take part and/ or attend as we did prior to now. Their response: Thanks to your inquiry! Right now, we’re unable to accommodate extra viewers expertise requests. Resulting from COVID-19 protocols in place, this 12 months’s present and crimson carpet are reserved for in-show expertise, nominees and chosen taking part community companions solely.”
